Workshops for Teams

Boost creativity, reduce stress, and bring your team together through hands-on craft experiences.

A hands-on creative session is one of the most effective ways to give a team genuine breathing space — and one of the most memorable things you can offer as an employer.

I've been working in community arts across Somerset for over 20 years, running workshops, programming events, and building relationships with some of the most talented artists and makers in the region. That experience means I can offer something most workshop providers simply can't: a carefully kept network of professional creative facilitators, each one an experienced teacher in their own craft, ready to work with your team.

The crafts I can bring to your workplace include:

Willow weaving, printmaking, textiles, calligraphy, rag rug making, needle felting, paper quilling, origami, floristry, embroidery, air dry clay, pottery and paper crafts — and that's just a starting point.

Here's how it works

You tell me about your team — the size, the occasion, the kind of experience you're hoping to create. I'll suggest the right craft and the right facilitator, take care of all the logistics, source the materials, and be there on the day to make sure everything runs smoothly. You arrive, your team makes something, and they leave with both a finished piece and that particular sense of satisfaction that only comes from making something with your hands.

I led a botanical paper lantern workshop for the Brewhouse team in January — delicate tissue paper and dried flowers, pressed and layered by hand. The room quietened into the work almost immediately. By the end, every person around that table was holding something they'd made themselves and looking genuinely pleased about it. We finished with pizza. It was a good afternoon.  That's what I want to create for your team.  You can read more about it on my blog here.

What's included

All materials, a professional facilitator matched to your brief, and me on the day to host and oversee the session. Workshops can be delivered at your workplace or at a suitable local venue.
